Hello
I'm so sorry for my shameful lack of blog posts. I have been so busy with all sorts of very boring domestic things.
I have managed to fit in a couple of craft shows which have been great fun (but more about those another day.)
In the meantime to try and get me back into blogging, here is my latest 12x12 scrapbook page.
I created it with (my fave) Kraft cardstock, with Whisper White for stamping on, Circle Circus stamp set,
Old Olive ink and Not Quite Navy provide the colour along with matching brads and a button thrown in for good measure.
The photo is of my very handsome son Patrick who was about 11 when it was taken. Since then he went up to bed a boy one night and came back down a teenager!!!!
He is now nearly 14 and much more spotty and smelly ... but his Mum still things he is the most handsome boy in the world! x

Fox and friends
I had a busy week this week making things for all the new babies that have arrived recently. Whilst "playing" with fox and friends I made these 3x3 cards to use as gift cards to be included with presents.
Cute aren't they?!
I'm off on holiday today (should have left an hour ago!)
See you all in about 10 days Happy Easter

Fox and Friends
THello I am pleased to confirm that my card maker friend at work did like her RSVP card and judging by the other comments I got so did everyone else at work.
There are several new babies to make things for at the moment, so I decided to use Fox and Friends to make something for someone at work, who is due next week.
I got the box frame cheap a while ago (sad I didn't get more!)
I then CASed an I idea from an old copy of Stampin' Success.
I have used Whisper White and Bashful Blue card stock.
To stamp the images from Fox and Friends (available from tomorrow) I have used the following inks
Bashful Blue
Barely Banana
Real Rust
Close To Cocoa
Gable Green
More Mustard
I embellished with a library clip, brads, a button and linen thread and if you look carefully, you will see I have also used the small flower from Vintage Vogue (also available tomorrow and probably my favourite from the mini).
Once I'd stamped out the images all I had to do was punch out the images with a circle punch and mount on stampin' dimensionals.
I think the end result is quite effective and hope the Mum to be will like it ( I think it will match baby's room as it is decorated with animals).
I wasn't too sure about this stamp set as first but I love it now and can see myself using it a lot for babies, toddlers and bigger cheeky monkey's!!!
Tomorrow is an exciting day as products from the mini are available to customers for the first time so please feel free to contact me (by email) for your free copy of the mini and a special offer for new customers.
Thanks for stopping by

Happy Anniversary Barbara!!
As I said last night I've got a 25th wedding anniversary party coming up. Last night I showed you the invite RSVP, and tonights card is the one that I plan to give to the couple on the day of the party.
The cardstock is Kraft, Whisper White and Real Red and the ink is Real Red.
As with last nights card I've finished the card off with Real Red Ribbon and Vintage Brads. I really like the idea that the RSVP and the card are made from the same materials so are the same idea but with a different layout.
I was (I thought !!) quite clever with this one. I don't have much DSP, so I used the I (heart) Hearts stamp set as the backgrounds to the tiny hearts. Then I used the mini punch to punch out nine co ordinating mini hearts.
I'm really happy with how it turned out and will at some point remake these cards in some different colours.
The new mini is almost here and has lots of lovely new goodies in it so please feel free to contact me to place an order.
Come back tomorrow for some cute baby items made with Fox and Friends. In the meantime thanks for stopping by and please leave me a comment so I know you were here !!!

Love Hearts
When the new mini catalogue is launched in just a few days (how exciting!!) there will be lots of new stamp sets which will be available for a limited time.
Demos are allowed to pre order these items in order to make samples, so when my box of goodies arrived last week I could not wait to have a play.
I needed an RSVP card for a 25th wedding anniversary party and this is what I came up with
I used Real Red and Kraft cardstock for the base of my card. I then stamped images in Real Red ink onto Whisper White cardstock using the I (heart) Hearts stamp set.
The stamp set is a real bargain buy and has pattered hearts in several sizes.
As I hate cutting out I'm always looking for ways to cheat so I reached for my Three Hearts Punch (which was a present from my ILWS secret santa!!)
I also used two new SU punches (can you spot where?).
To finish off I used Real Red ribbon and black Vintage Brads.
I like the finished item (just my style as I love bright colours and Kraft cardstock!) but Barbara is a card maker so lets hope she does.
I'll let you know what she said tomorrow, and maybe post more mini catalogue sneak peeks until then take care

Phew what a busy blog hop!!!
Hello I've had a really nice day today because as you will see I've taken part in my first ever SU blog hop.
It was great fun and really inspirational, as there were three loops it meant that 46 demonstrators took part.
I got loads of lovely ideas (which is great but it also means that I now have a very long shopping list for products that until today I didn't know I wanted!!!)
Last weekend I went to Manchester to visit the lovely Debbi and we spent ages drinking Baileys, talking rubbish and making these SU colour charts.
They look really good don't they? It's a really good way of showing potential customers just how lovely SU products are and how well they all co ordinate.
The hearts are punched from all the different shades of cardstock, the squiggles show off the lovely stampin write markers. Finally the charts are finished with and stamped image (one for each colour of ink.)
If you look closely you will see we used the bumble bee image from the Blooming With Beauty stamp set, Why the bee you might ask?
Well Deborah (which of course we were both given as our Sunday name) is the Hebrew word for bee!!
Buzzing off to bed now but please check back tomorrow as I have more samples made with items from the forthcoming mini.
Hope you enjoyed the blog hop as much as I did
