Hello Sorry I've Been AWOL

Hello I know you've not heard from me for a while but I'm back and raring to go !

On Thursday I attended my first ever Stampin Up training event and it was BRILLIANT I'm so pleased I went I had a great time and met so many lovely people!!

The swaps were fab and here are a few of my favourites ...

This is a really cute Easter treat idea made by Joanne she very kindly but a bar of galaxy in it which I enjoyed last night.

Isn't this fab!? I really love the colour choice on this one, the Bashful Blue is lovely but the Basic Black really makes the image jump off the page Kelly has inspired be to try this combination out soon.
This one is so cute and would be ideal for an easy make and take it was designed by mad Monica is is bonkers in the most lovely way!!!
This is an interesting one as I know this stamp set has had very mixed reviews (even among demos) but, I rather like it and the edition of a classy background stamp shows what a nice card could be made. (There are no details on the back of this swap but I think that the lady who made it is called Maria).

The colours on this one are actually softer than they look in the photo and are really sweet (make me think of dolly mixtures) it's a simple but effective idea that would be a lovely one for a demo. Thanks Joanne for this swap.

This striking colour combination (oh I do love Kraft cardstock!!) was but together by the very lovely Debbi who I must thank for looking after me and being such a laugh not just at the event but all the time.

This cheeky monkey card was put together by Julie who I had never met before but who I look forward to seeing again1

Last but by no means least is my drinking partner Helen's swap which she managed to assemble after a night in the bar the day before training .. not bad eh?

I'm still buzzing with ideas after my first big SU event as I came back with loads of ideas and having met some brilliant people. Thanks to all of you!!!!

I would highly recommend these events for new demos (don't be shy someone will look after you).

If you are or are interested in becoming an SU customer keep your eyes peeled for the mini catalogue it is coming soon and is full of some great new things.

Back tomorrow with something new for me .. an SU scrapbook page.
