Good Morning all and welcome to the very exciting Stampin Up mini blog hop!!!
If you are following the blog hop, you will have joined me from the lovely Vannessa's blog (yes it really does have two N's!!!)
Now, on to my creations which were created somewhat nervously, as I have never done a blog hop before.
For the scrapbook page of my daughter Rosarie (pictured a couple of years ago when she made her first communion) I used a new stamp set available from the mini called Vintage Vogue.
What cardstock to use was an easy choice, as I basically used my favourites Basic Black, Pink Passion and Whisper White.
For the stamped detail I used Co-ordinating inks in Basic Black and Pink Passion.
I kept further embellishment simple using pearls from the Pretties kit (which I've had for ages and been waiting for an opportunity to use!!)
To finish it off I used the eyelet border punch to create a fancy edge.
I used the same colour scheme and stamp set for my second project of a decorated bag. (Inside is a small gift for a friend at work who is leaving next week but shh - it's a surprise don't tell!!!)
It was very quick and easy to do. Once I had cut the flowers out, all that was left to do was embelish with vintage brads, beautiful Basic Black striped ribbon, linen thread and a bulldog clip from the clips assortment.
I hope you liked my projects, they only showcase a tiny fraction of what is available in the new Stampin Up mini catalogue. If you would like to see more projects using new supplies, please check back every night this week as I have been busy making lots of things to show you.
In the meantime please stop by to see what interesting things Linda has made to share with you.
Thanks for stopping by
Deborah xx
